Our parking attendants are also fully trained in order to guarantee your vehicle will be moved and parked safely.

Oversized refers to the physical size of your vehicle. Bigger vehicles, such as SUVs and pick-up trucks, are referred to as oversized vehicles. Because of the space limitations at certain parking facilities, oversized vehicles are subject to an additional fee. This is standard for any parking company. The physical requirements of an oversized vehicle and the respective additional fee can vary by facility.

To find out if your vehicle is considered oversized and the respective additional fee, please refer to the specific facility of interest on the Locations and Rates page and/or call the appropriate facility. You may also reach out to our New York headquarters at (212) 575-5335 or (888) 277-PARK for assistance.

The sizes of vehicles we can park vary by facility because of spacing limitations. Our facilities in Long Island City typically can provide space for the largest vehicles for longer term parking. Also, certain of our facilities in Manhattan can accept larger vehicles only for overnight parking.

We recommend calling ahead to check for availability and rate. Please reference the Locations and Rates page for details and contact information for specific facilities. You may also contact our New York headquarters at (212) 575-5335 or (888) 277-PARK for assistance.

The maximum vehicle height varies by the limitations of each parking facility. In addition to our indoor facilities, we do also have many outdoor facilities that offer more space.

We recommend calling ahead to ensure your vehicle will fit in the desired parking facility. Please reference the Locations and Rates page for contact information for specific facilities. You may also contact our New York headquarters at (212) 575-5335 or (888) 277-PARK for assistance.

The cost of parking varies at each of our parking facilities. We pride ourselves on providing the most competitive rates in New York.

Your parking cost is based on the size of the vehicle and the amount of time your vehicle is parked in the facility. The licensed parking rates at each parking facility are displayed on signs as you enter the facility. The on-site parking attendant will be happy to help with any questions.

Yes! While special rates vary by parking facility, many of our facilities offer special evening and weekend rates. The special rates are prominently displayed at the respective parking facilities and on our Locations and Rates page. These rates are significantly lower than our day rates and represent great savings.

Yes. We frequently offer savings and benefits to our loyal customers. Please contact our New York headquarters at (212) 575-5335 or (888) 277-PARK to learn more.

We fully understand that people change vehicles, especially when under repair, and accordingly, there is no problem if you change vehicles. However, if the monthly pass was purchased for a regular-sized vehicle and you change to an oversized vehicle, you may be subject to an additional fee for oversized vehicles (as explained in the FAQ on oversized vehicles above).

Also, the vehicle must be driven by the same owner who purchased the monthly space. We do not allow another person to park in your spot with another vehicle.

Per MTP policy, the on-site parking attendant will work as quickly and safely as possible to retrieve your vehicle. To expedite the process in the event that there is an emergency or you are in a rush, please call the parking facility ahead of time and request the on-site parking attendant to prepare your vehicle for exit. The parking attendant will work to accommodate. Please reference the Locations and Rates page for the phone numbers for each of our parking facilities.
The majority of our parking facilities offer valet services exclusively and therefore it is necessary for you to leave the ignition key when you drop off your vehicle. However, certain facilities do offer “park and lock” service, which will allow you to keep your keys, though you will be subject to an additional fee. Please reference the Locations and Rates page to see which services are offered at each parking facility.
If your vehicle is left in an area which is interrupting service, we reserve the right to tow the vehicle to an area that does not affect the operation of the facility. You will also be subject to any additional towing fees that may apply from a third party vendor.
If you would like to extend your stay, please call the appropriate parking facility to inform us of the changes to your parking needs. The additional charge will need to be paid directly to that parking facility. Please reference the Locations and Rates page for the phone numbers for each of our parking facilities.
The hours of operation at each parking facility are prominently displayed on signs as you enter the facility, on your parking ticket and on our Locations and Rates page. If you do not pick up your vehicle during the hours of operation, you will be contacted and informed about any additional fee for opening the facility after operating hours as well as any applicable fee for any extra parking hours.
English is our primary language. However, we try to accommodate other languages as much as possible. We employ facility managers that are fluent in Polish, Spanish, Hebrew, Swedish, Moroccan and Russian but this varies by employee and facility.

MTP’s Executive Team has developed a watchful eye for innovative methods that have led to new standards in the industry. We are constantly working on new ways that we can better serve our customers.

We specialize in parking design and maximizing utilization of space at our parking facilities. We also introduced the floating garage concept to be used by municipals and cities that are located near a river and that experience a parking shortage.

Another critical issue to MTP is being on the forefront of gender equality. We were the first parking company in New York City to hire female parking attendants and managers, promoting gender equality in the parking industry.

Technology has also provided huge opportunities for innovation in the parking industry and we are working diligently on several new endeavors. Our recently re-designed website is user-friendly to all mobile and web devices. We are also in the development phase of a new mobile application that will aid with fast and seamless parking space reservations and payment processing.

These are just a few examples of the innovative ideas that are in our DNA here at MTP.
